These issues rift powerleveling are not your typical "this class is too strong, this class is too weak", they are completely taking all enjoyment out of the game for a large percentage of the player base, and will soon threaten the success of this game: 1) Mana drains - specifically Void Knights and to some extent Dominators. These two souls can strip all mana off the two mana based classes (clerics & mages) effortlessly, rendering them useless in seconds. This is bad already, but soon ( Rift Power leveling and I am sure this post will do more damage) more people will catch on to it and roll more Void Knights, essentially making it pointless to play warfronts as a cleric/mage. We all know how much fun warfronts are if you have no healers on your team. (Spoiler: Not fun at all) There is no way to counter this. You can't shield it, you can't out-run it, you can't heal it. Blizzard nerfed mana drains dramatically for a reason, and the WoW mana drains were not even a fraction as effective as they are Rift Gold in Rift right now. HOTFIX SOLUTION: Reduce the effectiveness of all mana drains dramatically. Even if you make them 50% less powerful, they are still way too powerful - that's how bad it is right now. Don't take any chances with this, and take away 90% of their effectiveness for now, just to be safe. They have no place in pvp. 2) Saboteur burst damage There are many threads about this already, and they are there for a reason. Single target burst damage is always hard to balance, and there are rift plat many classes that need a boost or a small nerf. However saboteurs stand out right now, and needs to be toned down to a more sensible level. Their attacks are extremely subtle in a busy warfront, and are almost impossible to counter. No class should be able to effectively one-shot almost anyone at will. They already have some of the highest damage in the game, but it is made even worse by the fact that they can deal it all in one big "lol surprise" hit. It is not pvp. Good pvp is all about act rift platinum ion and reaction, so to make it good you need to tone down burst damage. HOTFIX SOLUTION: Reduce saboteur single target burst damage dramatically. There are many other balancing issues at level 50 pvp right now, but these two stand out at the moment, and needs immediate attention. I don't want to sound like a doomsayer, but these issues are detrimental to your product. Thanks for reading everyone.
